Portable blast system removes tough deposits
Guyson International has recently introduced the G155A portable pressure feed blast cleaner to the UK marketplace. This addition to the Guyson range of high quality blast equipment offers a robust, portable pressure pot suitable for site operation or within a blast room and has been designed with maximum operator safety and comfort in mind. Blast media for many different applications can be used with this system, including all types of expendable media, steel and iron grits and shots etc.
This portable blast cleaner is ideal for a wide variety of industry sectors including construction and civil engineering, metal fabrication and structural steel, transport equipment, ships, boats, dockyards, mining, oil, gas and chemical installations. Specific applications include removal of rust, scale, corrosion, paint, cement, bonded coatings and other tough deposits. The unit is supplied as a complete system with accessories, ready for immediate use - simply connect to a suitable air supply.
The system conforms to latest EEC pressure vessel directives and includes as standard a 50 litre pressure pot, tungsten carbide blast nozzle, manual air on/off valve, heavy duty wheels and carry frame, also an emergency shut down by remote control with deadman’s handle for operator safety.
For further operator protection, a pure-air filter and hose lead to the F300 cavalier helmet, which is equipped with replaceable anti-frost sheets for better visibility. Also included is a protective blast suit and heavy-duty rubber gauntlet gloves.
